IGEL

BUILDING THE OPEN-SOURCE AGENTIC SOFTWARE FACTORY

One engineer. A whole department.

Rigel builds Compass. You run a tree of Manager agents. Each owns a team, does the work through workers it dispatches, and ships only what you review and approve.

THE BUSINESS CASE

Ship beyond your headcount

The limit on what a team ships used to be how many engineers it could hire and coordinate. A Manager tree moves that limit. One person runs a whole department of agents, and a small team runs like a large org, on the models they already pay for, and they still decide what ships.

MULTIPLAYER

A whole team, and all their agents

Most tools give you one bot to hand a task to. Compass is multiplayer to the core: every teammate runs their own tree of Managers, and the trees meet where people already work, in shared channels and the repo. The agents coordinate agent-to-agent through those threads, settling contracts and hand-offs without a human relaying between them, and any teammate can drop in to steer.

THE COMPANY

We build Compass by running on it

Rigel is a small team that ships like a large one, because our own engineers run trees of Managers every day. The product is the way we work, shipped. If it could not build itself, we would not sell it.

The factory that builds the factory.
